started this on TLOTR so i put it here now
Prolouge
The great goblin king Durburz sat in his throne room contemplating the recent dwarf attacks on his kingdom, Moria. "Master, Bizog is here" said one of his brutish advisors, but his voice was muffled because he bowed so low that his face was pressed against the floor.
"Good send him in!" demanded Durburz. The great door to his throne room creaked open slowly and three figures steped in. "Good, and i see you brought your...".
"Advisors" said Bizog, the goblin standing in the middle, "This is Zurbog", he said indicating to the huge half troll on his left, "and this is Nemgig", indicating to the small goblin on his right.
"... I see" mumbled Durburz under his breath, "well, now i want you to plot a strategy to attack the nearby Dwarf hold of Dingar".
"Very well Master," he said. As they walked out the hulking brute, Zurgob, asked in his regular, idoitic, toneless voice "what are you doing?"
Which earned the short replay, "We are leaving."
Chapter 1
Bizog had made this decision 3 weeks before, when Durburz had forced his regiment to attack the dwarf captain, Kelbar's army alone. Bizog had downright refused, causing Durburz to lock him in the dungeon for 10 days, and expect imediate forgivness.
"Why we leavin" asked Zurgob for the fourth time after they left the mountain. They had been walking for over two hours now, Bizog, Zurgob and Nimgeg, with over one thousand goblins, and three trolls, snarling and bickering behind them.
"I've told you three times already!" screamed Bizog at him. Bizog, unlike like most goblins, had quite a long temper. But even the most patient elf would start to get anoyed by the brutal half troll walking beside him. Zurgob was huge, at least twice as tall as Bizog, and three times as wide. He was a half troll, but any real troll could beat him in a battle of wits three times over. Not to say he wasn't usefull, sometimes his dumb, impulsive ideas helped path the way to victory. Also, no dwarf warrior, or even three together, could fight against him and win.
"At least try to remember," snarled Nimgeg, walking on the other side of Bizog. Nimgeg was quite smalll even for a goblin, but that made able to sneak around extra well. He was the best goblin archer in Middle Earth, even some elves might lose out to him. And he was smart, not in the clever, strategic way of Bizog, but just in pure IQ.
"STOP!" screamed Bizog so loud that the small army behind him all looked up. Zurgob and Nimgeg both were cowering beside him. Bizog had that aura about him that naturaly made others scared of him. "you smell that" he grunted.
"Oh yes hehehe." snickered Nimgeg. Him and Bizog both said together, "dwarfs."
Chapter 2
And dwarfs there were, a scouting party of around three hundred was just over the hill in front of them. These dwarfs were led by burly war veteran Hegar, who had been in more battles then he would care to remember.
*
"Whats the battle plan?" enquired one of the goblins behind Bizog. This goblins name was Kig, he had been added to Bizog's army only a few weeks before.
"Why dont we jus' charge in?" pied up another goblin called Firgob, "theres only a couple 'undred of 'em." Firgob had a better sence of smelll then any goblin in the army.
"No... we can't aford to lose that many men if we ever plan to take moria for our own" Bizog said, "hmmmm. How many do you smell Figob?"
" Its Firgob, and i reckon there three 'r four 'undred."
"I see... Nimgeg, what is it" sked Bizog. Nimgeg had been coughing into his hand this whole time.
"Well you see, if there only four hundred of them I could easily take out most of them with my archers," he suggested, "and then Zurgob could, HEY WAKE ZURGOB!" he screamed at the half-troll who had recently fallen asleep. "as I was saying, Zurgob and his trolls, could easily run in and take them out while we fire another volley at them."
"Yes, yes, okay do it, but bring me there leader, now kill them all!" Bizog snarled as Nimgeg, Zurgob and roughly two hundred and fifty goblins ran off, followed by three trollls. Bizog turned and yelled to the rest of the goblins "Lads, get ready to FEAST!"
Chapter 3
The battle wen't swiftly and smothly like Nimgeg had said, half of the dwarfs were deadbefore they knew what hit them. After the initial volley Zurgob and his trolls ran in and swiftly finished them off while the goblins took carefull aim not to hit there own men. Only one goblin had been lost and troll had lost one of his fingers. One dwarf appeared to have been ready for something like this to happen and had quickly fired an arrow and then drew his sword and slashed at the troll grabing him.
As this dwarf was being thrown onto his stomach at Bizogs feet, Bizog asked him "what is your name dwarf?"
"Cough cough Hegar, of the blue mountains." he choked out.
"Hegar, I have heard of you, the swiftest of dwarves," Bizog growled, glancing at the weapons in his hands, "you are the one that killed Firgob are you?"
"If you mean the goblin I shot, then yes, yes I did" Hegar stated.
"Ah I see, you amuse me, you talk as if you have chance at killing me," Bizog laughed, "You are the first who has not begged for mercy, begged for the mercy that would never come... Very well, i will let you go, go and tell your lord that he will fall to the goblins and his city shall be taken, and his people will be, slaughterd," He sneered the last word at the dwarf laying at his feet.
"The grat Kelbar will never be taken by this pathetic, ragtag army of lowly goblins. He will kill you all and will take your city, you are a fool." He was cut short by Bizog unsheathing his sword and running it through him.
"I give you the chance to live, to see your loved ones again, and you, you insult me, my men and my race, you are the fool." he ben't down and spoke softly but snering at the same time, "you will fall, and your people will be slaughtered." The dwarfs body finaly fell to the ground. "MEN take what you wish from the dead dwarfs." as he looked around at his men, he realised that Furgob was not the only one missing, another was gone as well.
Chapter 4
Kig was running as fast as i could toward Moria 'I have to tell Durburz about his plan to take back Moria' he thought as he ran.
*
"That traitor, that swine, that evil little backstaping lout" yelled Nimgeg at no one in particular.
"calm down Nimgeg," said Bizog, "I't doesn't matter if Durburz knows, whats he going to do raise his defenses. He thinks were just a bunch of misfits and fears nothing of us."
"Whats that" Zurgob said as he pointed into the distance.
"It's a surviving dwarf of the band we just defeated, Nimgeg, kill him" snarled Bizog. The dwarf was roughly one hundred and fifty meters away, yet Nimgeg brought it down with a single arrow. "Good one Nimgeg," laughed Bizog, "he thought he might live, d**n idiot. Well back to buisnes, we need to take the hold of kelbar to make a strategic point for us to fall back in dire need." Bizog then pulled out a map, he traced his finger along in several directions. "This is Moria here and Kelbars hold is here, Burin has a hold here and here, they both need ot be eradicated before the full assult on moria can begin. Over here is a forest that is much like mirkwood, I hope to capture spiders there and wargs here," pointing to yet another place. "Now, if Kelbar and his men manage to drive us back, we need to take refuge in the forest down here, till w can renew our strenght. If i die during this all, nimgeg takes as comand and if he dies then," He quickly glanced at Zurgob, "well lets not get to far ahead.
Chapter 5.
"You have to let me in" Kig cried to the goblin guarding the eastgate, "It's urgent, i have to tell the king!"
*
Bizog and his army were walking at a steady pace throughout the next week, ocasionaly incountering small bands of roaming dwarves. They waled all the way to the forest that Bizog had pointed out on the map. There they encountered many spiders and captured almost all of them.
"Why do we need the spiders?" Zurgob asked, "won't they turn on us?"
"They might, but thats why we release them into the caves to cause panick in the city." Bizog mumbled as if his mind was drifting of somewhere else. He thinking about Moria, the long dark halls, the deep secluded caverns. Maybe i shoudn't have left, He thought, Maybe i should have stayed, Im only a goblin its natural to be treated that way. No, leaving was for the best, he would make Moria stronger when he returned, stronger, bigger and better. Then eventualy him or his children or his childrens children would take over all of middle earth, maybe even overthrow the great Sauron one day.
A goblin named Gignar brought him out of his thoughts, "Look isn't that Kelbars hold there!" He pointed as he shouted. Gignar was no warrior, he was only with them for his strange ability to comunicate with wargs.
"Yes that is," Bizog snickered. The dwarfs time is coming to an end, he thought, and it is us that shall shake there fortifications and drive them from there mountains, and you Kelbar, will be the first.
chapter 6
Kig bowed to the goblin king, "they are moving north to destroy the dwarves! Then they are coming back to over throw you great one."
"You believe i fear from them! ha you are a fool Kig. i should kill you here and now, for deserting, and killing a fellow goblin warrior. You are the one who killed Firgob are you not."Durburz sneered at him.
"ye, yes i did. I figured that if he were to die Bizog would have less of a chance of planning the perfect strategy to defeat you. You know how good that goblins smell was, he could not only tell what, he could tell, how far and how many. Besides he was going to die anyways, from that arrow, i just finished the job." Kig stutered.
"yes, yes, Hegar was always like that... with a faster reaction time then any other dwarf." Durburz remembered outloud, "when i killed his father and his brothers i should have killed him to."
